Indoor Air Quality Regulations and Mold
Standards or Threshold Limit Values (TLVs) for airborne concentrations of mold, or mold spores, have not been set. Currently, there are no EPA regulations or standards for airborne mold contaminants. Because there are no regulations it makes your quest to find out and understand your indoor air quality much more difficult. At Midwest Indoor Air Quality Associates we take a basic approach toward mold problems.
- First a home evaluation is performed
- Areas of concern identified (visible signs of mold and moisture)
- Test only if needed
- Provide a clear, understandable solution
